Actions of Love
Myrna, 38 and a successful physician, sought my help because she often felt inadequate. When you take loving action in your own behalf, you are letting yourself know that you matter, you are important, you count. When you fail to take loving action, you give yourself the message that you are not important, which leads to feelings of depression and inadequacy.
Loving actions for yourself might include:
* Eating nutritious foods, avoiding junk food and sugar, eating when hungry and stopping when full.

LOVING ACTIONS IN RELATIONSHIP TO OTHERS
Loving actions in relationship to others might include:
* Being kind and compassionate toward others without compromising your own integrity or ignoring your own needs and feelings.
* Saying no when you mean no and yes when you mean yes, rather than giving yourself up and going along with something you don't want to do, or automatically resisting what another wants from you.
* Taking care of your own needs instead of trying to change and control others. Accepting your lack of control over others and either accepting them as they are or not being around them.
* Speaking your truth about what is acceptable to you and what is unacceptable and then taking action for yourself based on your truth.
* Taking personal responsibility for your own feelings and needs, instead of being a victim and making others responsible for your feelings and needs.
* Creating a balance between giving and receiving, rather than a one-way street with another person.
As a result of learning to take better care of herself alone and with others, Myrna no longer felt depressed and inadequate. She gradually lost her fears of being in a relationship, and is delighted to be meeting available men.

In 12 Step meetings the fatal nature of the disease is exhibited in the funerals and arrests of those that aren't willing to go to any length to stay clean and sober. Peter was well past the state of denial about his own disease. More frequent visits to the drunk tank, passing out on the street, and vomiting on a daily basis foreshadowed the end of the road, and it was not very far away.
At 12 Step meetings they often offer key fobs or coins to celebrate and acknowledge lengths of clean time. 30 days, 60 days, 90 days,like tasks you can achieve today, 6 months, 9 months, and then yearly thereafter. Peter had taken a 60 day key fob on Tuesday, and talked about how proud he was of this incredible accomplishment. Make no mistake, 60 days without drinking, for an alcoholic, is a monumental feat. People who are not alcoholic seldom count how many days it's been since their last drink, so one may not understand the import and significance of this.
Thursday morning Peter showed up to breakfast crying. He said his bags were packed, and he was leaving early. Peter was crying, because,we now reset it and establish new priorities. With a new goal in sight, he told us, he knew he was going out to drink. He stated very honestly that he was going to a bar, and would likely sleep on the street tonight. He was invited to stay for breakfast so we could talk about it. Peter stated he knew he would die, or harm someone else in a black out and land back in jail. In addiction lingo this is called The Hijacked Brain. There was nothing anyone could say or do to hold back this man back from certain destruction. Peter had packed up his 30 and 60 day key fobs, and left after breakfast.
Addictions can be cunning, powerful and baffling. Alcoholism creates a powerful thirst for self-destruction. Recovery can create a powerful thirst for life.

Why Some Women are Desperate
I asked Dave how he was doing since it was the anniversary of his wife's death. He replied, It's rough, but what is even worse, is women won't leave me alone! I don't want to hurt their feelings but they phone me too so I can't even have peace in my own home.

There have been months where I have seriously considered bouncing my rent check in order to buy a purse I simply could not do without. Who am I kidding? I have bounced my rent to buy a new handbag! There is a company called Bag Borrow or Steal that, as far as I can tell, is the first of a kind. They have a wonderful website, and a business model like no other. It is very similar to Netflix or something to that effect, but you rent handbags instead of the latest DVD. Somewhat similar to renting videos, you pay annual subscription fee and you are given access to a collection of beautiful handbags to use on a temporary basis,5879 Ugg Classic Cardy Chocolate Boots. The type of bag you are allowed to borrow is determined by your membership level. Memberships range from $19.95 to $174.95 per year. The group is comprised of women who share a common passion for business, joining together to inspire each other to levels of accomplishment they would not individually be able to achieve. The group members will help one another by brainstorming ideas, offering assistance in implementing goals and by supporting each other's passions. Mastermind participants will act as keen critics, devil's advocates and supportive colleagues.
The Mommy Mentors' Moms Business Mastermind Group is unique in its approach. Based on the belief that there is no greater teacher than real life experience, we'll go into the community to find role models to join in our Partners team and Speakers Bureau. The Moms Business Mastermind Group will feature practical hands-on mentoring, as well as exciting, innovative partnering exercises that will enable participants to fully capitalize on each others strengths and experience. The ancient Egyptians are generally credited with being the first people use perfumes, and perfume oils. The fragrances that they used came only from natural substances such as flowers, wood,while looking great., aromatic plants and leaves, etc. The Egyptians are also credited with being the first to use fragrances and oils for skin care. They are also credited with being the first to use aromatic spices to preserve and give the body a pleasant fragrance at death.
Scented oil fragrances can be made from many substances. A finished scented oil product is a composition of a wide variety of substances, not all of which are used to produce scent. Perfume oils are a mixture of fragrant scented oils, aromatic compounds,you'll stop using it to deal with stress. Instead, fixatives, and solvents. Fragrance oils are used to give the human body, animals, objects, and living spaces a pleasant aroma.
